Our History

Simply Windows & Doors technically started as Window City, Inc. in 2002 with Ken, TK and Sharon. Ken and TK owned an apartment building that needed 55 windows. After calling all the top named window companies and receiving quotes of up to $50,000, TK opened the yellow pages and saw an ad that said most sizes $99. The man on the phone was CJ Jones. At the age of 82, he helped Ken, TK and Sharon start Window City, Inc. CJ passed away at the age of 83 but not before teaching them how to run a window business. He had over 50 years of experience.

Window City, Inc maintained an A+ rating with the BBB and honored every contract written. Window City, Inc. was sold in June of 2012 and was renamed Window City Plus. During that time Sharon, whom all the customers loved, remained the Office Manager for the new owner. She decided to retire in June of 2018. Only one year after Sharon’s retirement, many of the repeat contractors, realtors, investors, and homeowners who had become close to Sharon began to call her cell asking what was happening at WCP. The new owner had planned to shut down the business after the tornado. Now, new HISTORY is being made and the name had to be changed to Simply Windows & Doors, but the crew came back and re-opened the doors officially in July 2019.

In May 2020, Sharon got her heavenly wings but not before seeing the business that she originally helped birth back in her family’s hands. We know she is smiling down at Simply Windows & Doors.
